Some clients very kindly supply us with feedback on our services through a survey form. Recently Mr. W and Miss Moore completed this with respect to works undertaken by Shanice in our Wills & Probate team. They both gave excellent feedback related to – overall service – communications – and recommendation of our services.
As to ways to improve this, Mr.W said “don’t Let Shanice leave” and also added “It was a pleasure dealing with Shanice, who was friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and prompt throughout the process. During challenging times in life, such as bereavement, it can make all the difference to have someone like that helping you.”
Miss Moore commented “Shanice is a real asset to the company, and I would highly recommend her to anyone”.
Many thanks to Mr. W and Miss.M for completing this survey, and many thanks to Shanice for her excellent work.

In recognition of the extremely hard work by our team during the pandemic and especially during the stamp duty holiday, Jeremy and Debbie are giving our staff a Wellness day which is being tagged on to the bank holiday.

We have all heard how schooling has been affected during the pandemic, with the need for many children to work from home. Sadly, due to circumstances there are families who are unable to provide the IT equipment needed for this. Our local school – The Beacon School in Banstead, has a number of children who are struggling with their education due to not having the IT equipment they need.
When we heard this we felt we wanted to help our local community and school. We did not have any laptops to give them so instead we made a monetary donation which will go towards supplying the IT equipment so desperately needed.
If you are a local business, or an individual and like us, want to help our community – please contact The Chair of the Beacon Friend’s Association – Gary Eversfields: gary@eversfields.co.uk he will be very pleased to hear from you.
We are working in unprecedented circumstances arising both from the COVID 19 Pandemic and also the current Stamp Duty Land Tax incentive deadline. Demand is unusually high and we are experiencing extremely high levels of calls and emails.
We kindly ask that you bear with us during this time as there will be delays due to factors outside of our control. Turnaround times for surveys, mortgages, and searches have slowed considerably and this affects the timescale of a transaction.
At present the government is granting a stamp duty holiday until 31st March 2021. Whilst we appreciate that you will be keen to benefit from this government granted relief we cannot make any guarantees or confirm that the matter will complete in time for you to obtain the reduction. By continuing to instruct us on this matter you are acknowledging that the matter may not benefit from the stamp duty holiday and that you are aware that the normal rates of stamp duty will be payable for your type of transaction.
In accordance with Government guidelines we will only be able to see clients one at a time and strictly by appointment only. The Partners at Cuff and Gough would ask if you could kindly where a face mask when visiting the office.
However, clients should not attend the office if they are unwell or displaying any flu like symptoms. We thank you for your cooperation.
